Streamer Announces Marathon Recovery Session After Exhausting Stake Pay, Denying Adin Ross Loan Request Mid-Stream

Returning from a three-month streaming hiatus and marking his comeback with another one of his trademark high-stakes gambling streams on Stake, the Curaçao-licensed crypto casino platform where he holds a paid streaming deal, the 35-year-old American streamer experienced a $10 million downswing over just two sessions, with a $4 million recuperation on Keno far from enough to bring him back into the black.

“This has to be the worst I’ve ever ran in my entire career. Pay is gone, it’s all personal now. I need something crazy or it’s going to be a very sad stream,” he wrote on X on April 1.

Trainwreckstv built his large online following through marathon gambling streams on Twitch between 2018 and 2022, regularly broadcasting 12-hour sessions while playing high-stakes slots with bets ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 per spin. He became one of the platform’s most-watched and most-controversial figures, drawing criticism for broadcasting gambling content to a young audience while simultaneously maintaining that he has never promoted affiliate codes.

After Twitch restricted gambling content from unlicensed casino sites in October 2022, Trainwreckstv migrated to Kick, the streaming platform he partially owns and helped launch in response to Twitch’s tightening restrictions on gambling-related content. Kick’s 95/5 revenue split and permissive content policies allowed him to continue broadcasting without restrictions.

This week’s downswing is one of his largest results broadcast on a stream, but it has not yet reached the scale of his reported $40 million loss during a single month in 2022. A separate run in November 2025 was previously described as his second-worst streak.

Trainwreckstv was joined on a live call during one of this week’s broadcasts by fellow streamer Adin Ross, who has been at the center of ongoing scrutiny over influencer-promoted gambling following Bloomberg.com’s investigation into statistically anomalous win rates on Stake’s in-house games.

Ross signed a deal with competing crypto gambling platform Rainbet last September with a reported $50 million signing bonus, five months before the Bloomberg investigation was published. During the stream, Ross requested a loan from Trainwreckstv, who immediately declined, citing his recent losses.

The exchange underlines the volatile state of play behind high-stakes crypto casino streaming, where eight-figure swings can occur within days, and platform pay structures can be exhausted in a single bad run, with handshake deals occurring live on air in front of tens of thousands of viewers.

At the time of his losing streak, Trainwreckstv was playing Pragmatic Play’s slot title The Dog House at $1,000 per spin on Stake. The platform reported nearly $2.6 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2024, according to the latest available public figures.

FAQ 🔎

  • How much money did Trainwreckstv lose on his comeback streams? Trainwreckstv lost over $10 million across two streaming sessions after returning from a three-month hiatus, with a $4 million Keno win only partially offsetting the losses.
  • Is Trainwreckstv using his own money to gamble now? Yes, Trainwreckstv confirmed on X that his Stake platform pay has been fully exhausted, and he is now gambling with personal savings.
  • What is Trainwreckstv’s connection to Kick? Trainwreckstv is a partial owner of Kick, the streaming platform launched in 2022 as a gambling-friendly alternative to Twitch.
  • Did Trainwreckstv lend money to Adin Ross? No, Trainwreckstv declined a loan request from Adin Ross during a live stream, citing his $10 million loss as the reason he could not help.
