Arc goes live on September 16
Circle flips the switch on public mainnet this Wednesday, roughly eleven months after the first announcement. The pitch hasn’t changed: USDC as gas, sub-second finality, and a validator set that includes BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard and DTCC. Testnet processed over 244 million transactions on the way here.
For regular users, the more interesting number is still the token split. Circle earmarked 60% of ARC supply for ecosystem development. Chains that reserve that much for builders and users tend to reward early activity. If you farmed the Arc Network testnet, Wednesday is when the mainnet chapter of that story begins.
Hold your bridge, cheaper routes are coming

One trend to watch closely: some launchpads promise memes tied to tokenized stocks. Sounds great on paper. The problem is that no tokenized stocks are live natively on Arc yet, so these projects plan to bridge some over from other chains.
That setup doesn’t look sustainable to us. A meme pegged to an asset that has to be bridged in, on a chain where the bridges themselves are still expensive and immature, stacks a lot of moving parts on day one. Be extra careful with any launchpad or meme selling you that story this week. Let them prove the mechanics work before you ape.
Day-one support: SushiSwap and FOMO
The ecosystem side looks livelier than most chain launches. A SushiSwap dev confirmed on X that Sushi will deploy its Launchpad, AMM and Swap on Arc on September 16, launch day itself, and invited projects and launchpads to reach out for collabs.
