Shiba Inu: Key Events To Take Note Of
Shiba Inu has long been stuck at low price levels, keeping the SHIB army in anticipation of when the asset may jump higher than ever. The token is currently sitting at $0.000006118, dropping 1% in the last 24 hours. Despite SHIB’s low price momentum, the asset’s open interest has been surging lately, with the asset outpacing Bitcoin and XRP at its current pace.
The SHIB open interest has surged nearly 13.45% in the last 24 hours, hitting $69.79M. At the same time, the asset has established support around the 50-day simple moving average, paving a new path for the asset to score a new high.
Furthermore, Shiba Inu may soon embrace a breakthrough momentum. Per Javon Marks, the Shiba Inu chart has been displaying the asset falling off a wedge pattern, indicative of a 450% surge.

Despite the odds, per CoinCodex SHIB data, Shiba Inu is not a good purchase for 2026. The portal labeled SHIB as a neutral asset for 2026.
