Nexo has become the first digital-asset wealth platform to sponsor an elite professional golf circuit, striking a three-year agreement with the DP World Tour. The deal will make Nexo the Official Digital Wealth Platform of the Tour and title the Nexo Championship, set for 7–10 August 2025 at Trump International Golf Links, Aberdeenshire.
The three-year agreement, which runs from 2025 through to the 2027 season. In its first year alone, the collaboration will feature at six blue-chip events. These events will include:
- The Genesis Scottish Open
- Betfred British Masters
- BMW PGA Championship
- Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship
- The season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai
- The newly christened Nexo Championship in Scotland.
By aligning with tournaments that regularly draw golfing heavyweights such as Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, and Matt Fitzpatrick, the Nexo brand and exposure will get a massive boost

The Nexo Championship
The newly branded Nexo Championship will carry an estimated $2.25 million purse and effectively replaces the discontinued D+D Real Czech Masters on the DP World Tour schedule. It is set for 7–10 August 2025 at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen, the tournament will return top-flight competition to one of Scotland’s toughest modern links layouts.
Nexo’s Co-founder Antoni Trenchev views are that the “wealth and golf are built the same way: with preparation, control and vision.”
