Oxalis Games, the developers behind Web3 farming RPG Moonfrost, have raised $275,000 USD following the mint-out of their recent OG Mystery Box NFT sale on June 12.
All 1,833 OG Mystery Box NFT collectibles were minted at a price of $149.99 USD, with buyers receiving a guaranteed OG Gnome – an item with as-yet-unknown utility – alongside chances to receive items that will enable players to earn the soon-to-launch $FROST token.
With the success of this sale, Moonfrost now powers towards its hotly-anticipated early access release, expected to arrive in summer 2025.

Moonfrost is an upcoming Web3 life simulator and farming RPG, built on Open Loot, and available on PC via the Epic Games Store.
Developed by UK-based studio Oxalis Games, and inspired by the likes of Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon, players start from humble beginnings to create their own flourishing in-game farm. By growing plants, gathering resources and harvesting your crops, you’ll invite a cast of characters to your land, build relationships with them, and collect new crafting and gathering options to improve your plot.
Players have been able to experience the game via a number of time-limited alpha releases so far. During these play periods, players have gathered SHARDs – an in-game currency that is expected to reward players with an allocation of the the soon-to-launch ecosystem token $FROST.
Moonfrost is expected to enter early access on PC in summer 2025, with an iOS and Android release also anticipated to arrive in future.
