Ripple’s native token XRP had reached an all-time high of $3.40 in January 2018. It’s been more than seven years now since it failed to reclaim its ATH. The maximum high it reached was $3.31 in January this year on the heels of Trump’s inauguration. The spike in price came as Trump was appointing crypto-friendly people for the top positions in the cabinet.

XRP is now hovering around the $2.5 mark and is less than a dollar away from breaking its ATH. The next bull run could make its price climb above its ATH and print a new high. However, a rally is off the cards as a grey cloud of tariffs and trade wars could reignite after the 90-day pause announced by Donald Trump.
Ripple: Here’s When XRP Will Climb Above ATH of $3.40
Leading on-chain metrics and price prediction firm CoinCodex has forecasted that Ripple’s XRP could breach its ATH of $3.40 and reach a new high of $3.60 in 2029. That’s 20 Cents ahead of its ATH and a surge of nearly 45% in the next four years. Therefore, an investment of $1,000 could turn into $1,450 if the forecast turns out to be accurate.

The price prediction is cautious considering that Ripple’s XRP has already surged by 400% in a year. In addition, Ripple’s native token has a history of price stagnation whenever it spikes dramatically in the charts. The forecast indicates that a reversal could be on the cards, combined with a longer period of stagnation.

Trump’s presidency could also bring the markets down with his policies that include trade wars and tariffs.
