Hundreds of businesses have accepted Shiba Inu as a form of payment along with the traditional methods of transactions. From spectacle stores in New York to dental supplies manufacturing in Michigan and burger joins in Colombia, SHIB is accepted almost across the globe. However, one popular website that deals with flight and ticket bookings accepts Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies as official payment methods.

This Flight Booking Website That Accepts Shiba Inu

Vietnam’s leading flight, hotels, and activity booking website Travala accepts Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies as payments. The website has been accepting SHIB for close to three years now and users are paying through cryptocurrencies. One such user recently gave a 5-star review saying that crypto-friendly options are making the website’s experience much richer.

“It’s amazing that crypto is available as a payment option, especially USDC on Solana,” he wrote. Apart from Shiba Inu, Travala also accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Solana, USDC, and various other cryptocurrencies. However, the majority form of payments for the website comes through debit and credit cards.

Despite being a meme currency, Shiba Inu has made its way to all popular websites as payments. Several businesses had exclusively revealed to Watcher Guru that they accept SHIB, especially New York’s Nerdy Frames sunglasses stores.

While the acceptance has started, the amount of companies accepting SHIB remains small. Only 100 businesses or more cannot push Shiba Inu’s price up in the charts. The use case must go mainstream for the dog-themed token to kick-start a rally in the indices. If it comes to a point where everyday commoners start paying with SHIB, only then will it have a chance of scaling up in value.

Despite the newer forms of payments, cash, credit, and debit cards still rule the roost. Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies have a long way to the top to even consider becoming 1% of all transactions.
