Despite being the second-largest meme coin, Shiba Inu is the 17th-largest cryptocurrency. The asset has been moving quite slowly over the last couple of years. SHIB’s initial price rallies faded away, and the meme coin is currently 84% below its all-time high of $0.00008845. According to data from Changelly, Shiba Inu is set to record a notable rise during the month of May. The meme coin will record a massive spike and trade at a high of $0.0000311 from its current price.
Meanwhile, XRP will also see an increase. But the altcoin will experience a much smaller growth compared to SHIB. Changelly has set XRP’s price for May 2025 at $2.49. As a result, Shiba Inu would provide a substantially larger potential return by May 2025 if an investor were to purchase both XRP and SHIB now. SHIB is expected to reach $0.0000311 from its current price of $0.00001341, which would represent a remarkable gain of almost 131.95%. On the other hand, XRP’s rise is limited to a modest 10.67% in the same time frame. According to these forecasts, Shiba Inu seems to be the better short-term option for investors hoping to make money by the middle of 2025.
