Devansh Mehta, a well-known expert in the blockchain technology, has joined Ethereum Foundation as announced on X today. Mehta will be working on a new project that combines Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Ethereum blockchain.
Devansh Mehta’s Previous Work
Devansh Mehta has worked for Gitcoin and Arbitrum for the past two years. His prominent work include contributing to Gitcoin’s quadratic funding protocol and grant funding mechanisms, and helping design Arbitrum’s layer 2 scaling solution and optimistic rollup protocol.
Mehta’s Primary Objectives
With this move, Mehta’s goal would be to make Ethereum’s ecosystem more efficient, scalable, user-friendly and powerful using AI. He even outlined his three main areas of focus and they are as below:
- Funding: Mehta plans to optimize AI in such a way that it helps bring in new projects on Ethereum ensuring that the resources are allocated effectively.
- Governance: Mehta plans to develop innovative governance models that utilize AI to facilitate decision-making within Ethereum’s community.
- Use cases: Exploring new and innovative applications of AI on Ethereum’s blockchain, unlocking its vast potential.
Mehta is also thrilled to embark on this project, believing it can bring significant benefits to Ethereum’s ecosystem. His work has the potential to make blockchain technology more accessible, efficient, and widely adopted.
