Popular web3 zombie shooter Undead Blocks is set to return from hiatus, relaunching on Avalanche thanks to a partnership with fast-rising DEX Blackhole.
The game has been largely inactive for much of the past year, but had previously been one of the most popular FPS titles on Immutable, with players able to earn a variety of NFTs and tokens through gameplay. This deal will not only kick-start the game once again, but will introduce new maps, weapons, tournaments and more.
As part of this deal, $UNDEAD – the ecosystem token of Undead Blocks – will also bridge to Avalanche. As of writing, no date has been confirmed for the relaunch of the game, or for when it will bridge to Avalanche.

Undead Blocks is a multiplayer zombie survival shooter, soon to be built on Avalanche, and available on PC.
Developed by Wagyu Games, and inspired by titles such as Left 4 Dead, players work together in teams of up to 4 players to take on hordes of zombie opponents, defeating enemies, upgrading their loadouts and obtaining rewards.
On top of the $UNDEAD ecosystem token, the game featured a wide array of NFTs, including an assortment of skins that allowed players to customise their weapons, characters and more.

- Mobile release: a mobile version of Undead Blocks is expected to release in early 2026
- Migrate NFTs: the current Undead Blocks skin collection is set to migrate away from Immutable, likely to Avalanche
- Gameplay expansion: new mechanics, features, systems and more are set to debut in Undead Blocks after the relaunch
With new momentum behind the project, time will tell if this relaunch can bring Undead Blocks back to its prime.
