Shiba Inu has long been vying for the top market spot, with its ecosystem working on new ways to expedite its progress. The token’s popularity quotient continues to stay stable, with investors often reminiscing about its 2021 SHIB rally, the one that led SHIB to climb as high as $0.000008, taking the markets by sweet surprise. While the market keenly anticipated SHIB to climb and breach ambitious price marks like $0.01 or $1, these marks are not realistic and may require a lot of effort from SHIB’s end. Are $1 or $0.01 Price Targets Truly That Unrealistic?
Shiba Inu’s current market supply amounts to trillions, $589T to be precise. For SHIB to hit a high mark of $1, it will require immense effort from SHIB’s end, as the token will have to erase multitudes of coins from circulation to streamline its scarcity element. Per an article by Motley Fool, it’s unrealistic to consider Shiba Inu hitting high price marks of $0.01 or $1, as the math simply does not make sense.
Moreover, the platform noted how it will take millions of years to burn $589T worth of the SHIB market supply, making it absolutely impossible for the token to hit $1.
“But here’s the part that will make your head spin: Only 22.3 million tokens were burned last month (September 2025), translating to an annualized rate of 267.6 million tokens. That means at the current pace, it will take more than 2.2 million years to burn all the tokens required to warrant a price of $1, so we certainly won’t be here when it happens.”

According to Benzinga SHIB stats, Shiba Inu may end up exploring a high of $0.00286 by 2050, with an average price of $0.00251.
