1. EOS Transformation to Vaulta
The EOS crypto will soon be rebranded as Vaulta in May 2025, and this change will shift its focus toward banking solutions and also real-world asset tokenization. This cryptocurrency 2025 strategic move comes as EOS has been struggling a bit with market share, with its TVL currently sitting at just $228 million. The EOS price has already jumped up by about 85% from its lowest point this year.
2. IOTA’s Rebased Mainnet
The IOTA blockchain will be launching its Rebased mainnet sometime in Q2, which will add important features like smart contracts and staking with annual rewards between 6-15%.
