This collaboration has involved initiatives such as the ‘AI Jam Session’, where over 1,000 scientists from nine laboratories tested AI models on domain-specific issues.
Additionally, OpenAI has deployed advanced reasoning models on the Venado supercomputer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, supporting scientific and technological research in high-performance computing environments. This effort focuses on applying cutting-edge AI models to complex national research challenges.
