NVIDIA introduces the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF and RTX PRO 2000 GPUs, offering significant AI acceleration and efficiency for professional workflows across various industries.

NVIDIA is set to transform professional workflows with the introduction of its latest GPUs, the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition and the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell. These new graphics processing units, built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, promise to deliver exceptional AI acceleration while maintaining a compact and energy-efficient design, according to NVIDIA.

Advanced Features and Performance

The RTX PRO 4000 SFF and RTX PRO 2000 GPUs are equipped with fourth-generation RT Cores and fifth-generation Tensor Cores. These advancements enable the GPUs to provide substantial performance boosts while operating at a reduced size and power consumption compared to traditional GPUs. Specifically, the RTX PRO 4000 SFF boasts up to 2.5 times higher AI performance and 1.7 times better ray-tracing capabilities than its predecessors, all while maintaining a 70-watt power ceiling.

The RTX PRO 2000 is optimized for mainstream design and AI tasks, offering up to 1.6 times faster 3D modeling and 1.4 times improved CAD performance. This makes it a powerful tool for professionals engaged in engineering, design, and content creation.

Industry Adoption and Use Cases

Several industries have already begun integrating these GPUs into their workflows. For instance, the Mile High Flood District in Denver utilizes the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell for complex flood simulations and 3D visualizations. Similarly, the Government of Cantabria Geospatial Office has reported enhanced performance in geospatial data analysis using the new GPUs.

In the field of architecture and design, Studio Tim Fu leverages the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell for its UrbanGPT application, which facilitates real-time text-to-3D urban design. Additionally, engineering firm Thornton Tomasetti has noted significant speed improvements in structural analysis tasks with the RTX PRO 2000, enhancing their computational engineering capabilities.

Software Ecosystem Enhancements

NVIDIA continues to support its hardware innovations with a robust software ecosystem. The NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite provides tools for building and scaling AI applications, while the NVIDIA Cosmos platform supports high-performance AI for robotics and automation. These software solutions are designed to maximize the capabilities of the new Blackwell GPUs, offering developers and enterprises the tools needed to advance AI and graphics performance.

Availability

The RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell and RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition GPUs are expected to launch later this year. They will be available from major distributors like PNY and TD SYNNEX, as well as system builders including Dell Technologies, HP, and Lenovo.
