NFT Gaming Company “Gunzilla” Launches Its Utility Token $GUN

Gunzilla Games, the AAA game studio and developer of the famous ‘Off the grind’ non-fungible token game, has announced plans to launch its ecosystem token $GUN. This highly anticipated utility token, $GUN, will launch next week on March 31, 2025, exclusively on the Gunz blockchain network. $GUN will be listed on Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the crypto market.

Gunzilla Sets To Launch $GUN Token Next Week

In a March 27 blog post, the Gunzilla Games, through their Gunz official X account, confirmed plans to launch a utility token, $GUN. For marketing purposes, Gunzilla and Binance have partnered to launch a launchpool. In crypto, a launchpool is a platform where users can stake existing cryptocurrencies to earn tokens from new projects, essentially a form of yield farming or staking, allowing projects to distribute tokens and engage the community without a direct sale.

Founded in 2020, Gunzilla Games is a web3 gaming studio known for developing the next-gen battle royale game “Off The Grid” and the gamer-first blockchain GUNZ. The game is free-to-play and uses blockchain and NFT technologies in its own ecosystem, called Gunz. Players can buy weapons, skins, cybernetic limbs, and other cosmetic items in-game and trade them on a marketplace, with Gunzilla Games stressing that the NFT features are optional.

In April 2024, Gunzilla Games announced plans to integrate the OpenSea NFT marketplace. The integration of GUNZ into OpenSea, slated to mature next week, will provide a compliant and transparent NFT marketplace for trading in-game items, bridging the gap between web2 and web3 gaming. Under this integration, game users alike will be able to trade in-game NFT items for any game built on the GUNZ blockchain and utilize the “GUN” utility token as the exclusive payment method.

Binance X Gunzilla Games Launchpool

Gunzilla Games will list its utility token $GUN next week on Binance at 13:00 (UTC) and open trading with GUN/USDT, GUN/BNB, GUN/FDUSD, and GUN/TRY trading pairs. The $GUN token will feature a limited edition of 10 billion GUN. The initial circulating supply, when listed on Binance, will be 604,500,000 GUN, representing 6.05% of the total token supply. The Gunzilla and Binance have allocated 400,000,000 GUN for launchpool token rewards, representing 4% of the total supply.
