Meebco, the digital asset incubation studio focusing on managing and expanding the Meebits non-fungible token collection, has partnered with the artificial intelligence artist Chikai Ohazama for a special collaboration. In response to this announcement, several non-fungible token traders have rapidly rushed to different marketplaces to buy Meebits NFT collections to ensure they won’t miss the surprise project.
Meebits & Chikai Join For Special NFT Collab
In an August 7 blog post, the Meebits NFT team confirmed partnering with Chikai Ohamaza for a special non-fungible token project. Even though the Meebits team has not shared much about the NFT project, it has urged collectors to hold both Meebits and Chikai NFT collections in their wallets to receive a surprise. The Meebits NFT firm Meebco also gives away two Anomalia pieces to Meebits NFT holders.

MeebCo is a digital asset company that manages and expands the Meebits NFT collection. Meebits are a collection of 20,000 unique 3D voxel characters represented as non-fungible tokens hosted on the Ethereum network. They were created by Larva Labs, the same team behind the CryptoPunks NFT series, and were designed to be used as avatars in metaverse environments, gaming, and virtual worlds. Each Meebit is a distinct 3D voxel character, rendered in a low-poly style, and can be customized, animated, and used across various platforms.
The Meebco was formed after acquiring the Meebits IP from the Bored Ape NFT creator Yuga Labs, who had previously bought it from Larva Labs. MeebCo is backed by 1confirmation and aims to grow the Meebits brand through initiatives like digital storytelling, merchandise, and art projects. MeebCo plans to develop new creative initiatives, introduce merchandise, and explore new ways for users to interact with the Meebits NFT collection.
On the other hand, Chikai Ohazama is a Florida-raised, San Francisco-based entrepreneur and artist responsible for co-creating a company named Keyhole, which was later acquired by Google and became Google Earth. Chikai crafts cinematic narratives that delve into the human condition, employing surreal juxtapositions and temporal expanses. His acclaimed collections, “Anthrocinematica” and “Anomalia”, highlight his innovative approach to storytelling through AI technology.
Chikai Ohazama NFT Journey
Chikai Ohazama is not new in the non-fungible token market. Previously, Ohazama has launched several non-fungible token collections, including Great American Horror Story, Mode, Fish Market, Southern depression, Wolf Game, and Evolution. Other NFT collections from NFT artist Chikai include Chicken and Egg, Foreigners, Spheres, Mirrors, Otherside, and the Bear Market NFT collection.
In the meantime, the Meebits NFT collection appears to have reacted shortly to the collaboration. In the past 24 hours, the Meebits NFT collection has amassed a trading sales volume of 59 ETH, up 82% from the past day. During this period, the Meebits NFT floor price has increased slightly, rising from 0.77 ETH to 0.86 ETH. The Meebits NFT floor price has surged 14% over the past day.
