One such investor cried in a video after he sold $2,000 worth of Shiba Inu just months before it rallied 67,000,000% (67 million percent). SHIB could have turned the $2,000 investment into $1 billion when it reached an all-time high of $0.00008616 in October 2021.

Shiba Inu: Investor Loses Opportunity to Make $1 Billion in SHIB
So here’s how things unfolded: The investor poured $2,000 into Shiba Inu in January 2021 and got to accumulate 25,874,894,883,239 (25 trillion tokens). SHIB was trading with 10 zeroes back then and was a relatively obscure cryptocurrency in the market. However, after he purchased the tokens, SHIB began to dip and his $2,000 fell to the $1,650 to $1,800 levels.

Panicked by the loss, the investor sold all his SHIB tokens and jumped ship from the cryptocurrency. Life went on as usual for the trader and was taken aback when it kick-started a phenomenal rally. Shiba Inu surged nearly 67,000,000% between January to October 2021 just a month after he dumped the tokens.
If the investor had not panicked, he would have made $1 billion simply by holding $2,000 worth of SHIB back then. The stinging pain of selling Shiba Inu early gave the investor sleepless nights as it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Becoming filthy rich this quickly is only a dream that the trader missed out on selling SHIB tokens early.
He made a video on TikTok explaining his situation and his plight was felt by one and all. “I just got a message from a couple of mates and they told me that Shiba Inu has gone up 67 million percent since January. I was browsing Reddit and came across a recommendation for buying meme currencies. One of them was SHIB. At that time I put $2,000 into it and I left it for a couple of weeks. It went down and I sold it for a loss.” He added, “It turns out that would now be worth $1 billion if I hadn’t sold it. Now how to live with that?”
