Destino Devconnect launches a local grant initiative to accelerate Ethereum adoption in Argentina, ahead of Devconnect ARG 2025 in Buenos Aires.

This program, which will run until November, invites local developers and enthusiasts to join forces in promoting Ethereum technology throughout Argentina and the broader Latin American region, according to the Ethereum blog.
What is Destino Devconnect?
Destino Devconnect is a local grant round designed to support Argentinian developers in their efforts to integrate Ethereum into various sectors. The initiative seeks to onboard newcomers, forge institutional partnerships, showcase Ethereum applications, and foster community collaboration. The goal is to amplify the efforts of local builders and accelerate Ethereum’s adoption across the region.

Whether individuals are hosting meetups, mentoring developers, or brainstorming new ways to leverage Ethereum, Destino Devconnect aims to support their endeavors. The program encourages ideas that demonstrate how Ethereum can benefit Argentina and the wider Latin American community.
November’s Devconnect ARG Event
The Destino Devconnect initiative leads up to the Devconnect ARG event scheduled for November 17-22 in Buenos Aires. This event will feature the Ethereum World’s Fair, showcasing a wide array of Ethereum applications and innovations. Additionally, decentralized events hosted by the broader ecosystem and a week-long coworking space with Community Hubs will provide opportunities for knowledge sharing and networking.
Benefits of Involvement
Participants in Destino Devconnect can receive up to $1,000 in sponsorship to fund events or initiatives. They will also have access to speakers, increased visibility through the Destino Devconnect calendar, and direct support from the Devconnect team. The program is looking for individuals and teams capable of organizing meetups, workshops, incubation programs, and mentorship sessions.
The initiative underscores Ethereum’s commitment to fostering a vibrant blockchain ecosystem in Argentina and Latin America. By supporting local developers and community builders, Destino Devconnect aims to position Argentina as a leader in Ethereum-driven innovation and impact.
