Artificial intelligence and decentralised finance will come under joint scrutiny this June at DefaiCon Istanbul, a dedicated event exploring how automated agents and DeFi protocols are intersecting across blockchain infrastructure.
Scheduled for 26 June 2025, the conference will take place at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center as part of this year’s Istanbul Blockchain Week and organised by EAK Digital—a leading London-based blockchain marketing and events agency.
DefaiCon Istanbul will bring together software developers, researchers, investors, and company founders to examine the growing use of AI in blockchain-based systems—particularly in areas such as financial trading, protocol governance, and resource coordination. The event follows the inaugural DefaiCon, held in Dubai in 2024, which reportedly attracted over 3,000 attendees.

Now in its fourth year, Istanbul Blockchain Week (IBW) is a regional blockchain conference bringing together participants from across the web3 and cryptocurrency sectors. IBW includes a series of panel discussions, developer workshops, product showcases, and networking events. The event will also feature live product demos and workshops, including tools related to protocol automation, zero-knowledge computing, and smart contract management. Past events have included the public debut of trading agents and trustless coordination tools now in development.
