Entering the year, few cryptocurrencies had as much Ripple (XRP). With the United States expecting massive changes to its cryptocurrency regulation, it was among the top set to benefit. That has propelled XRP to jump 38% over the last month, with many traders questioning if the asset can reach $4 price in January.
The company has debuted its optimistic Ripple USD Stablecoin (RLUSD). That expansion saw the firm enter a growing market projected to reach $400 million this year, according to Bitwise. Yet, it should also have massive implications for XRP as its growth trajectory remains undeniable.

XRP to $4? Here’s When Ripple Could Break Through Following Massive January
The last several years have been increasingly troubling for Ripple. Indeed, the firm found itself engulfed in a years-long legal battle with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). However, that has all changed in 2025 with the birth of a new pro-crypto administration at the helm.
Newly integrated US President Donald Trump had recently discussed his hope to bring forth a new crypto reserve for XRP and Solana. Moreover, he made good on that, birthing a crypto stockpile that shifts the very perspective of the county. Those kinds of developments have pushed XRP to jump more than 38% this week, with all eyes on the $4 mark that it could challenge in January.

As of Friday, XRP was up more than 38.51% over the last 30 days, according to CoinMarketCap. Moreover, It ended the week up around 1%, as the token is trading firmly above the $3.15 level. With ETF hopes present, the token is expected to continue gaining throughout the next few months, but how much?
According to the crypto price prediction platform, CoinCodex, Ripple is projected to end January at the $3.39 level. That is expected to increase marginally in February, as it jumps 5% in the month. However, things pick up increasing in March, where analysts forecast a 50% increase to trade at a monthly high of $4.79.
The projections indicate that XPR won’t attempt a surge to $4 in January. However, it is expected to break through the threshold multiple times this year. Additionally, things could change as positive sentiment continues to grow. With interest and policy movements in favor of the asset class, XRP could be poised for an even greater surge.
