BitBoy Crypto Ben Armstrong Arrested, Called Fugitive Of Justice

Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, known as “BitBoy Crypto,” has been arrested in Florida after being listed as a fugitive from justice.

His arrest was confirmed yesterday at 7:18 p.m. local time by Florida’s Volusia County Division of Corrections, days after he disclosed that a warrant was out for his arrest.

BitBoy Says Public Officials Are Hiding Corruption

Armstrong confirmed in a March 21 post on X that warrants had been issued for his arrest. According to the influencer, the warrants were issued because he sent emails to Cobb County, Georgia Superior Court Judge Kimberly Childs, who he alleged in the post are “DISHONORABLE.”

I can now confirm that the warrants for my arrest are due to me sending emails (as my own attorney by the way) to the DISHONORABLE Kimberly Childs of @cobbcountygovt who has NOW DELETED her Twitter lmao.

He said he was acting as his own attorney when sending emails to the judge. Armstrong added that Childs has since deleted her X account, before concluding his post by saying, ”Public officials hiding corruption one day at a time.” 

Not The First Time Armstrong Has Been Arrested

Armstrong’s recent arrest is not his first. Back in September 2023, he was arrested by police during a live-stream on YouTube.

BitBoy was on his way to confront former colleague Carlos Diaz in an attempt to retrieve his Lamborghini, which he claimed was “unlawfully stolen” from him. But the police detained Armstrong midway, and also found illegal narcotics in the influencer’s vehicle.

Records from the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department showed he was arrested for “loitering/prowling” and “simple assault by placing another in fear.”

He spent 8 hours in jail before being released on bail of $2,600.

Armstrong was also involved in a class-action lawsuit in April 2023, and was called in by the judge for harassing the plaintiffs’ counsel.

According to the plaintiffs’ lawyer, Armstrong harassed the team with a series of vulgar phone calls, text messages and social media posts.
