The cryptocurrency market has left investors in a state of confusion. After a fairly good weekend, most assets in the market were once again dropping. Ripple’s XRP wasn’t spared either. The third largest cryptocurrency pocketed gains of over 12% throughout the past seven days. But this uptrend was cut short following today’s downfall. But the real question is if the asset can get back on track over the next few days.

How Is XRP Faring At The Moment?
Over the past 24 hours, XRP was seen dropping by nearly 4%. The asset was trading at a high of $2.79 earlier today, before plummeting to a low of $2.67. At the time of writing, the altcoin was trading at $2.68.
The last couple of months have been exceptional for Ripple’s XRP. The asset broke its seven-year curse and hit a high of $3.27. While the market was betting on the altcoin to reach $4, XRP was seen taking a breather. Despite its growth, the cryptocurrency couldn’t reclaim its all-time high of $3.84. At its current price, XRP is more than 30% below this peak.

Can The Altcoin Reclaim $3?
The month of February has been quite turbulent for XRP as the asset has spent most of its time below the coveted $3 level. The altcoin started 2025 on a strong note but was seen dipping throughout February. The chances of the asset reclaiming $3 were rather bleak according to data from CoinCodex. The firm highlighted that XRP will be priced at a low of $2.65 on February 25, 2025. The maximum price that the asset will trade during that week is $2.77.
Even though this may come as a setback to XRP investors, a look back into the altcoin’s performance should bring in hope.
