At the same time, the current US SEC regime under Mark Uyeda is currently on a pardoning spree, dropping cases against major crypto firms like Coinbase and Kraken. This development is also fueling speculation about the US SEC finally dropping its case against Ripple, which may usher in a new price era for the token to be a part of.
Adding more to the speculative fire, Fred Rispoli, a notable lawyer on X, shared his opinion on the aforementioned matter recently. Rispoli stated how “it’s reasonable to speculate” that the US SEC may finally announce the case resolution or declare a significant development before Ripple’s filing deadline, which is April 16, 2025.
“Although there is no formal reason requiring it, it is reasonable to speculate that the SEC v. Ripple case is resolved—or at least something significant happens—before Ripple’s filing deadline of April 16, 2025. Let’s keep an eye on it…and hope.”

How High Can the Token Surge Post Its Case Dismissal?
Per ChatGPT, XRP may surge to hit the $3.50 to $5 price range in a short-term scenario. This price may be driven by factors such as broader adoption rates and increased institutional interest. At the same time, GPT also outlines XRPs mid-term growth. The portal predicted the token hit $5 to $7 depending upon its global partnerships and its steady adoption rate.
The long-term price prediction includes GPT stating XRP soaring as high as $10.
