XRP’s Price At $1 May Be The Bottom: Where To Next?
XRP had years of struggles due to the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple. The financial authority accused the fintech company of selling unregistered securities, and filed a lawsuit in December 2020. A US court stated in 2025 that the sale of XRP to retail clients did not fall under securities laws but sale to institutions did. This brought substantial regulatory clarity for the asset. XRP went on to hit a new all-time high of $3.65 in July 2025.
The US Senate may vote on the brink of passing the much anticipated CLARITY Act. The legislation aims to bring additional regulatory clarity and investor protection for the cryptocurrency sector. Retail and institutional investors may fell a boost of confidence if the bill is passed into law. XRP’s price may see a jump under such circumstances.

Another factor to consider is ETF inflows. XRP also saw the launch of several spot ETFs late last year. ETFs have become a key part of the cryptocurrency landscape. Although we may see a price rally, XRP may not climb to a new all-time high just yet. Bitcoin (BTC) is expected to hit its next peak in 2029, and other assets will likely follow a similar trajectory.
