SHIB’s 2021 rally is one for the history books. The asset’s price rallied by many million percent within months of its debut. SHIB hit an all-time high of $0.00008616 in October 2021, just over a year after its launch. If you had sold your $10 worth of SHIB coins when the asset was at its peak, you would have made a whopping $11.65 million. In this scenario, your investment would have grown by 116,556,166% (116 million percent).
While getting into a project is one thing, it is equally important to know when to exit. In the case of Shiba Inu (SHIB), it was quite difficult to know if SHIB has hit a peak or if it will continue to rise. The 2021 bull run was one of the most significant moments in crypto history.

One primary reason for Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) incredible run was its massive token burn. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin received half of SHIB’s entire supply upon launch. Buterin decided to burn 90% of the coins (around 410 trillion coins) he received. His actions led to a massive supply dip and, consequently, a huge price rally.
It is unlikely that Shiba Inu (SHIB) will replicate its 2021 rally. It is almost impossible to burn another 410 trillion SHIB tokens. The only way for SHIB to rally is through mass adoption and demand. The asset could see another big price spike if market conditions are ripe and the demand for the coin is high.
