These affiliations offer symbolic identity within the chess game and reinforce Anichess’s worldbuilding through distinct styles and archetypes.

Furthermore, the Ethernals NFTs offer holders exclusive benefits beyond aesthetics. Ethernals come with access to upcoming staking pools, in-game features, and future ecosystem perks. These NFTs will also be included in token airdrops tied to the Checkmate ($C) economy. The NFT drop follows a $10K tournament prize pool. The top 64 players by rating will qualify for the playoffs in the prize pool distributed in $C tokens.
