Despite entering the market as a joke, the prominent meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB) managed to catch the attention of the entire market. While the asset’s recent price rut has been a major setback for its investors, the SHIB team has been working on boosting its utility. Several cryptocurrencies fail to make it big due to lack of utility. But the Shiba Inu network has been continuously developing the ecosystem. Through this, the community is confident about the asset’s uptick in the future.

How High Is Shiba Inu Currently Trading?
Volatility isn’t new for the Shiba Inu market. The same volatile nature of the industry pushed the meme coin towards its all-time high of $0.00008845 just one year after its launch. SHIB investors have immensely benefitted from this factor. But now, the asset was seen moving in the opposite direction. Despite its notable upticks between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, SHIB’s annual price change stands at a negative 44%.
As seen in the above chart, the daily price change of SHIB has also witnessed several rises and falls. Over the past 24 hours, the second-largest meme coin saw a 0.38% drop in its price. At the time of writing, the asset was trading at $0.00001233.

Expert Price Prediction
A recent Finder research, which includes projections from 26 renowned industry experts, portrays a positive picture for Shiba Inu in 2025. The panel revealed that Shiba Inu might recover significantly by the end of the year. The average forecast is that SHIB will shut in 2025 at $0.0000399. This would be an 84.3% rise from the early 2025 price of $0.00002165. Meanwhile, it would represent a significant 231% increase from the asset’s current price mark.
Amidst this, Ronen Cojocaru, the CEO of 8081 Inc., was among the most optimistic members of the panel. He predicted SHIB to trade at $0.0000743. This would imply a 510% gain over today’s prices. On the pessimistic side, John Hawkins from the University of Canberra expects SHIB to fall below $0.00001.
